My wedding photography approach is mostly documentary and candid, with as much or little direction as my clients need or request. Some couples appreciate more direction during portraits, and we can get stunning portraits this way. Some couples want to be more focused on being present with each other and just enjoy their day, and tons of amazing candids come out from this approach too! There are moments during a wedding day to be more like "a fly on the wall", there are moments when you have to get in the middle of the action to get some great candid shots, and then there are other times when giving some direction is the way to go.
My style is timeless and classic, for images that will never look outdated, but instead become a family heirloom.
The final images I send as proofs and post in the online gallery—typically 80-100 per hour of coverage—are a curated selection based on content and composition. I include only the highest quality images from each setup angle. Omitted images may include blinking, unflattering expressions, or excessive blur. All final images receive color corrections and exposure adjustments before I present them in the online gallery and/or as printed proofs according to your selected collection.
Absolutely. I can happily tailor any collection to best suit your celebration. Please message me your wish list. I will follow up with a new collection for your review.
Once you’ve selected your date and we’ve determined your collection, I will prepare and send a photography contract for your review. I ask that you return your signed contract within about a week to ensure your date remains available. Once we receive your contract and the 50 percent photography retainer, your wedding date is officially booked! The final balance is due four weeks prior to your wedding date.
I shoot digital, and I shoot film only upon request at the moment.
